Walking around her apartment, Mikah had all of the lights on. It was after dark and the tiny female was afraid of the dark; especially in a four bedroom apartment. She was so afraid of the dark that even the closest lights were on. The female hadn't been expecting too many people that evening, but she didn't know how many people that Finn would be bringing over, so she made sure to order a half dozen pizza pies and fully stocked when it came to her pineapple juice. Since the pizza had been ordered, Mikah went upstairs to take a quick shower. Once showered and changed into new clothes, Mikah look for a hair tie so that she was able toss her hair up into a messy bun while it dried. Once satisfied, Mikah went downstairs and into the kitchen, grabbing a can of pineapple juice from her fridge and opened it and took a quick sip of it. Since no one had gotten to he apartment yet, the female went into the living room and turned the television on and began flipping through the channels to find something that she would actually be able to enjoy. Although, while she was watching television after taking five or so minutes to find something, Mikah's phone started buzzing. Grabbing for it, she had received a message from each of the six people that she had invited the night before, saying that they all had something to do. And that was when Mikah had a feeling that she was going to feel awkward in her own apartment that evening. With no allies, she was going to be the odd one out when Finn and his friends had showed up.

Finn pulled the backs of his Toms over his heels and stepped out of his apartment door. He was currently off to a little "light party" with Mikah. The two shared one common fear: being absolutely scared shitless of the dark. Finn gripped his iPhone as he walked down the sidewalk. Even though it was New York City and lights were always on, Finn always had his iPhone set on the flashlight app. Finn quickly hustled through the throngs of people until he arrived at Mikah's apartment complex. He didn't realize how close the two lived from each other. Maybe they would be able to have parties more often?

Finn walked into the building and climbed the steps up to Mikah's door. His stomach was growling for some pizza and he was eager to try this pineapple juice she had spoken so fondly about. Maybe the two could also make some vanilla ice cream sundaes as well. It was gonna be a fun party between the two filled with lights and food. Finn was sure Mikah invited some of her own friends so he didn't bother bringing his own. Besides, he liked meeting new people. Finn approached her doorstep and knocked on the door three times and waited for her to answer.

Sitting on the couch, Mikah waited for Finn's arrival. It wasn't long before she heard three distinct knocks on the door. Grabbing for the remote, Mikah turned the television off, got up off the couch, and walked towards the front door. Looking through the peep hole that she had especially made for her heigh, Mikah saw that it was the exact person that she was waiting for. Opening the door, Mikah smiled. "Hey," she said, taking a step to the side, allowing room for the male to step inside of her apartment and out of the nursing home smelling hallway. "I hope you gave people directions, because none of my friends were able to make it tonight. They all had something else planned, so, yeah," she spoke softly. With her pineapple juice still in hand, the female brought her lips to the straw sticking out of the can and took a quick sip. "I already ordered pizza, so it should be here soon. Until then, I can't really offer any," the female said, apologetically. "There's snacks in the living room and the kitchen," she offered. "And whenever you want one," she said, raising her can of pineapple juice slightly. "Just let me know. There's a bunch of them in the fridge," she informed him. "Other than that, um, welcome to my apartment?" she said, a silly grin on her face. "I don't really know what else to say. Is there anything that people are supposed to say to first time guests?" she questioned, pushing the door shut.

Finn swayed from foot to foot until the door opened to reveal Mikah clad in a Star Wars hoodie and blink-182 tank top. Finn gulped. Wow. His favorite movie and favorite band were articles of clothing on this super cute girl in front of her. Finn silently cleared his throat and gave her a subtle nod. "Hey." Finn stepped inside her brightly-lit apartment and smiled to himself. She wasn't kidding when she said that every light would be on. It was comforting to know that she was as equally scared of the dark as Finn was. Finn looked back at Mikah and rubbed the back of his neck. Well, this is kind of awkward. "Actually, none of the people I planned on inviting were able to make it either. I was hoping I'd be able to meet some of your friends instead," Finn said with a shrug. He noticed the pineapple juice in her hand and smiled. "I see you've brought out the juice. And that pizza better be cheese or I'll shut off the lights," he teased. Finn followed her offer to the fridge and pulled out a can of pineapple juice. He walked back to Mikah and opened the can. "Um, I'm not sure. I don't really host parties often," he answered. Finn raised the can and gave Mikah a laugh. "Well, anyway, here's to me trying pineapple juice for the first time." He brought the can to his lips and took a long sip. "Holy shit, this stuff is good!"

As she opened the door, Mikah couldn't help but notice how ridiculously adorable Finn was. This was going to make for an interesting evening for sure. Watching the male enter her apartment, Mikah got a quick whiff of his cologne and pretty much melted. As soon as the door had been closed, Mikah looked to the male and heard the words that he spoke. Suddenly feeling as if the night was only going to get more and more awkward as it went on, Mikah took a quick deep breath in and released in. "If we had hung out before, I would have felt like we were being set up to be alone tonight, but I don't think that anyone knew that that was going to happen," Mikah said, walking into the kitchen. "Oh gosh, the juice is always out. I swear, it's like the only thing that I drink," she said. "And of course the pizza has extra cheese," the female said, laughing softly for a moment before becoming ultra serious. "You wouldn't turn the lights off. You're too afraid of the dark to do something crazy like that," the tiny female said, looking up at the much taller male and sticking her tongue out at him. Putting her hand on the back of her neck, Mikah replied to the male's next string of words. "Yeah, I don't normally host them either. Apparently, this is why," she said with a laugh. Then Finn took a taste of the pineapple juice that she had been raving about. Smiling with glee, Mikah looked at the male. "See! I told you that it was amazing!"

Finn could only smile at Mikah. She was so tiny and adorable. Finn just wanted to pick her up and run around with her in his arms. He knew she talked about how short she was but he didn't realize just how short she really was. It was incredibly cute and she was cute and Finn hoped this entire night would be cute. Hopefully, if he played his cards right, things would end up cute. Finn took a sip of his drink and shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe it's fate?" He suggested. He wasn't a strong believer of fate but who knew? Maybe everyone cancelling on Mikah was fate for the two of them to spend the night together. He truly hoped it was. As much as parties with other people were, he'd like to spend tonight to get to know Mikah. She seemed like an awesome girl. Finn laughed and nodded his head. "Yeah, you're right. I'd rather fight a dragon than turn off the lights," he agreed. There was no way he'd do something as drastic as turn off the lights. It could act as a trigger for them to cuddle or something, but he'd be way too scared of the dark to make a move. Finn took a sip of his drink and grinned. "It's so good!"

Looking at the male, Mikah couldn't help but notice his smile. Why did he have to be so damn adorable? All Mikah knew is that he seemed to be an amazing guy so far and she wanted to get to know him more. Maybe it was fate, as he mentioned it could be. "Maybe. Who knows if it's fate or something like that? To be honest, I've never been a real believe of fate. I think that things just happen, because you let them happen," the female spoke. "I don't think that there's this higher being that's controlling us like Sims or anything crazy like that, but that's just my view," the female said, taking another sip of her juice. "By the way, I hope that you're hungry. I ordered the pizza thinking that you were going to be bringing a few people, so there's going to be like six pies walking through that door soon," Mikah noted. Looking to the male, Mikah grinned. "Well, I don't know of any dragons around the neighborhood, so I don't think that you'll have to battle any for awhile. Unless of course, you want me to put in the Goblet of Fire and pretend like you're Harry Potter or something," the female said with a bit of a giggle. And as soon as Finn had agreed that the pineapple juice was good, Mikah shook her head slightly. "No one ever believes me until they try it," she said. "And now, you're going to drink it all the time. Just wait until the pizza gets here," she said, taking another tip from her can of juice.

Finn raised an eyebrow at Mikah but nodded his head. Did he believe in fate? He wasn't really sure. He also wasn't sure if he believed in God or whatever. He didn't really follow a religion. His parents didn't force it down his throat or anything. They just told him to treat people the way he wanted to be treated and pretty much just gave him a basic set of morals to follow. Be a good person, that was what he was taught. "I'm not sure I believe in it or not. If good things happen, than that's good. And if they don't, well, that's life." That was pretty much his thought put into words, right? "Well, I was raised to just be the best person I can be, as cliche as that is. And really, Sims? I didn't know I was in a computer game," Finn said with a laugh. Finn took a large sip of his juice and gave Mikah a wide grin. "I'm starving and I'm a growing boy so trust me, those pizzas will not be going to waste." Finn patted his stomach to add emphasis and laughing his adorable laugh. "Uh, I can't really cast spells but I can learn how to wield a sword. Don't worry, my fair maiden, I will protect you from evil clutches." Finn set his juice can down and did a body roll on the ground. He hummed the theme song to James Bond and did a secret agent walk around the couch and down to Mikah's feet all while making a gun with his fingers.

Seeing the male standing before her raise an eyebrow, Mikah cracked a grin. She was unbelievably adorable and she was slightly curious as to why he had picked her to think was cute and who was deemed worthy enough to hang out with. Regardless of the reasons behind it, Mikah was surely not complaining a single bit. In fact, she was super happy about the entire situation. Tonight, Finn was hers and only hers and she wasn't planning on sharing him with anyone. "Precisely," Mikah said in agreeance with Finn's perspective of things in life. "I was raised to be a snotty brat, but my parents even failed at that," Mikah said. "I think everyone should be treated equally and fairly," the female said, sipping her juice from the straw that was sticking out of the can of pineapple juice that was being firmly held by her right hand. "And yes, really, the Sims. If you think about it, we could be just one giant Sims game to someone else and not even realize it," she said. "Trust me, I'll have you thinking about that for a few hours one night when you have nothing else better to do," the girl said, smiling brightly following her last spoken word. "Good, because I'll probably have like four slices and then I'll be full until the morning," she said. "Cold pizza and orange juice," she said. "That's the only time I don't drink this stuff," Mikah said, motioning at her pineapple juice. Before she knew exactly what was going on, Mikah paused to try and figure it out. Though, once she heard the hummed James Bond theme, she knew. Once Finn was right in front of her, she looked at him and spoke. "Look, if you get to be James, then I'm playing Camille. I know that her legs are like the size of me, but seriously, I don't care," she spoke, smiling sweetly.

Raised to be a snotty brat? What kind of parents would raise their children to be snobby and spoiled? "No offense, but your parents sound like asshats to be raising you like that. The kids in my neighborhood were just like that and thought everyone that didn't make as much as their families did were beneath them. I'm thankful my parents weren't like them." Finn didn't understand why money was the cause of all the issues in the world, both politically and socially. But then again, Finn was raised to have his every need taken care of. He didn't know what life was like with no money and he probably never would. "That a girl," Finn grinned. He swished his can of pineapple juice and was greeted with little juice left in the can. Finn tipped his head back and gulped down the remains of his drink. He licked the sweet taste of his lips. "Are you sure you didn't get the Sim idea from Tumblr or something? 'Cause I've seen it there before," Finn teased. "Cold pizza is the breakfast of champions." If that was the case, Finn would definitely be spending the night. He loved cold pizza and Mikah clearly had a great taste in juice. Finn laughed at Mikah before tapping her nose. "Nah, I don't think she's that tall. Well, maybe, who knows? You are pretty short," Finn said with a playful smirk.
