Walking out of the doctor's office, Heidi was half smiling, yet a little nervous at the same time. She had been in this situation before, but the last time, she had much more on the line and couldn't go through with it. The fact that she was pregnant at twenty-four was easier than being pregnant at seventeen. The female knew that she had to tell her boyfriend about the news, but she wasn't sure how she should tell him.
Eventually getting an idea, Heidi drove off to the nearest party store and went crazy. She bought a ton of balloons and a pump to blow them up with, then a few other various things and went to the counter to purchase everything. Once paid for, Heidi got into her car and drove to Bryant's house. Letting herself in, the female knew that she was on limited time, so she got right to work. Blowing up balloons and putting up a few things, Heidi knew that Bryant was going to be surprised for sure.
After everything was set up for Bryant's arrival home, Heidi grabbed a book that she had been reading and sat down on the couch and just waited. She was hoping that he wasn't going to be late coming home, nor upset that she was pregnant with his son. Checking her phone occasionally, Heidi wanted to make sure that Bryant hadn't texted her that he was going to be late or anything that evening.

Bryant had been out and about all day. He hadn't much time to check his phone for anything. One of his band members was getting married the next weekend and surprise, Bryant was the best man. That meant all of the planning of the bachelor party was up to him. Bryant was no good at planning anything. He had always let his siblings do the planning and most of the time, he would just supervise. that was the eldest sibling's job anyway, right?
When things had finally calm down for the day, Bryant just wanted to get home. He drove his car, yawning, to his house. Once their, he noticed Heidi's car parked in the driveway. Bryant grinned to himself as he got out of the car and walked up to his front door. He was grinning because knowing Heidi, she was probably wearing something way too revealing. He hadn't really spent a lot of time with her in the past two months that they had been officially dating and he figured this was her way of making it up to him.
Excitedly, Bryant opened the door and the moment his eyes focused on the room, his jaw dropped. Blue balloons and decorations filled, literally filled the room. "What the-" the male uttered as he looked around and saw over a few balloons that Heidi was sitting on the couch with her phone in hand. "Um, babe?" Bryant said as he stared at the room and walked over to the couch. "What's all this?" he asked, pointing to the balloons before turning his attention to Heidi.

As soon as the front door opened, Heidi looked up and saw Bryant's face; though, it wasn't until he spoke out to her that she had decided to speak to him. Standing up to reveal a baby blue ribbon tied around her stomach, Heidi made her way to the front door to her boyfriend, swatting at a few balloons that were in her way. "Surprise," she said, smiling up at him and looking into his eyes. "I didn't know how else to tell you," the female spoke. "Besides, you know I don't do anything small. When I do something, I do it up big," the female spoke. "And apparently, when you do something, you do it right," the bright blonde said with a wink.
Knowing that her life was about to completely change, but definitely for the better, Heidi knew that she was ready to make this giant step with Bryant. Whether he was ready for a child or not, Heidi knew that she was. If Heidi had to raise the child on her own, she knew that she would be able to, but deep down, Heidi knew that Bryant would step up and take on the responsibility like he should. Heidi was already almost four months along and over the two months that she and Bryant had been officially dating and the couple of months that they had been hanging out and getting to know one another, the female knew that he would make a wonderful daddy to their child.

When Heidi got up from the couch, Bryant immediately noticed the little blue ribbon tied around her stomach. He got the hint immediately. A baby. Bryant was going to be a father. He wasn't married. What kind of big brother warns his sisters about not getting pregnant before being married and then goes and does it himself? His eyes blinked but his brain was basically fumbling for something to grasp onto as a thought.
When Bryant heard Heidi's last comment about him doing something right, he saw her wink up at him. She seemed happy about having his baby. He supposed that if she was okay with it, then he should be too. After all, it was not in Bryant's personality to not step up to take responsibility for his actions. Not that he was just going to support Heidi and their son but that he was actually going to be a father.
Looking at his girlfriend, Bryant wrapped his arms around her waist and hugged her, letting his head rest on hers. He let his hands gently rub her lower back as he pulled back a bit to look down into her eyes. "If you're excited about our son, then so am I," Bryant spoke, with a smile appearing on his scruffy face. "To be honest, I've never really thought about having kids but I'm okay if you're the mother of my child," the male spoke honestly. Bryant then leaned down to kiss Heidi's lips gently.

While Heidi walked over to Bryant, the female saw the look on his face change a few times. She wasn't too sure about where it would land, but Heidi knew that he would eventually come around to the idea of a baby, even if he wasn't all that thrilled about the idea of being a father at the moment. When Bryant wrapped his arms around her, Heidi felt at home in his grasp. She loved being in his arms and she always felt so safe in them. "I am excited about him," the female spoke gently. "And if you're not mad about him, then I think that we're going to be wonderful parents," Heidi spoke. "We already make a great team," the bright blonde female spoke of their current relationship. "I say we either pop all of these or let them loose outside," Heidi spoke. "Then we can talk about everything. I mean, if you never thought about having a family, then maybe we should talk about it before he gets here," Heidi said. "It may help any fears of concerns that you have disappear," the female added.
Heidi herself was a bit fearful of becoming a mother, but she knew deep down that she was ready and that even though she would have preferred to have been married before they had a baby, Heidi was ready. There were a few things in life that Heidi had been destined for: a huge music career and motherhood. Now, she had both.
"Besides, there's something that I think that I should tell you," the female spoke, cautiously.

Bryant watched as Heidi echoed his smile to him. When she said that if he was happy then they were going to be great parents, Bryant couldn't help but feel his heart skip a beat. A parent. They weren't just having a baby together. They were going to be parents. Bryant's only thoughts on ever becoming a parent was that he would raise children as well as his parents had done. Granted not all of his siblings were perfect but as a family, they were strong.
When Heidi started talking about how to get rid of the balloons and that afterward they could talk, Bryant responded with his opinion. "Popping them might scare anybody walking by. Might sound like gunshots you know," Bryant spoke, letting a small chuckle escape his lips. Hearing what the female said next, Bryant nodded. "I don't know about fears, but concerns, most definitely," he said looking at her, tilting his head a bit. "You seem like you're comfortable. Like you've been a mother before," he said then grinned at her.
Bryant had had to take care of his siblings quite a few times, being the oldest and all but he had never really thought about being a father himself. His music was his life and with touring all the time, he rarely had time to think about a girlfriend let alone a child. He was glad that Heidi was in his life and he was even feeling better about having a child with her.
The male's eyebrows raised when Heidi said there was something else she needed to tell him. He figured the big news of having a baby would be enough but apparently there was something else. "Hm? What's that?" Bryant asked, looking to his girlfriend, studying her eyes.

As the bright blonde female stood there, waiting on Bryant's responses and reactions, she just prayed that he wasn't going to be angry with her. It wasn't as if Heidi had asked to get pregnant, but it definitely could have been avoided; the pair of them could have done a little more to prevent it, but Heidi knew that everything had happened for a reason and if they were being blessed with a child now, then there was some reason behind it. When the male spoke, Heidi's worries seemed to drift out the front door that Bryant had just walked through, thankfully.
Commenting on Bryant's words, Heidi couldn't help but giggle softly. "Then, putting red dye on them isn't the right thing to do, I suppose," she spoke, a bright smile upon her face. "I wouldn't want your neighbors to think that I killed you or anything," she spoke. "And trust me, I've got enough fears for the both of us. I'll keep them all if you keep all the concerns. It sounds pretty fifty-fifty to me," the female spoke. Though, Heidi's calm attitude changed as soon as Bryant mentioned her being so comfortable as if she had been a mother before. "Actually, B," the female started off. "That's what I wanted to talk to you about," she finished. "Let's sit down so that I can explain everything. This isn't really something that most people like standing for, so maybe you should sit down or something," the female offered.
When the pair had gone back over to the couch that Heidi had been previously sitting on, they both sat down and the blonde looked directly into her boyfriend's eyes. Taking his hand in hers, Heidi shakily started to speak. "Bryant, when I was seventeen, my career was blowing up. I had the world in the palm of my hand and I didn't want anything to ruin that. This is going to sound really selfish, but you have to understand that I was young, I had my entire career to think of, I was scared, and I wasn't ready for such a responsibility." Taking a quick deep breath in and releasing it, Heidi then continued on with her words. "B, my ex, Beck, and I have known each other since we were kids, his career was blowing up back then too, and we just weren't ready to be responsible for anything or anyone except for ourselves. And honestly, we weren't able to even do that properly. Bryant, what I'm trying to say was that the day that I turned seventeen was the day that Beck and I found out that I was pregnant. We knew that we weren't ready for a baby and that we wouldn't be good parents whatsoever. The next day, I had an abortion and I haven't looked back since. I don't regret my decision to not have a child, I regret the way I made it. I should have just had the baby and given it to a family who weren't able to have their own. It was a selfish decision, but it was made. I don't want to give up this baby, because there's a reason that he's been given to us. Andy and I tried to have a baby, but it never happened and look what happened to us. Not being able to have a baby wasn't what broke us up, but if I was supposed to have his child, it would have happened. You and I haven't been together for terribly long, but I'm pregnant with your baby. There's a reason behind it," Heidi spoke. She then sat there, quiet, waiting on Bryant's reaction.

Hearing the female's response about the balloons, Bryant couldn't help but chuckle and grin a bit at her. Hearing what she said next made Bryant nod. "A fair trade i suppose," he said in response to having fears and concerns between the two of them. It was then that Bryant had said she was seemingly comfortable with being a mother when she offered for the pair to sit down so that she could talk to him.
Bryant silently followed her to the couch where they took their respective seats. Once they were seated, Heidi began talking. Bryant didn't once interrupt her. He could barely even respond in any way to be honest. He was glad that Heidi was being so completely open and honest with him about having an abortion but when she clarified at the end of her speech that there was a reason she was having a baby with Bryant, he couldn't help but respond with words. "It's because we are meant for each other," he said quietly as he looked into his girlfriend's eyes. "I know that's a bit soon to say but Heidi," Bryant said, letting his "bad boy" stage attitude from on stage start to show a bit. "No other girl has ever had me so wrapped around her finger. No other girl has ever wanted me so badly as I wanted them physically. You are it baby doll," Bryant said, looking to her and holding her hands in his. "That is the only reason I could think that having a baby with me is happening right now for us." Once the male was done speaking, he just looked to Heidi, trying to calm his thoughts and his heart which was starting to beat rapidly in his chest.

After telling Bryant what she had kept hidden from everyone, including her parents, Heidi felt like a giant weight had been lifted off of her shoulders. Being able to tell the male about her life before he had entered it put the female at ease; Heidi didn't know why, but she felt so comfortable around Bryant, like she was able to truly be herself around him and not have to even slightly worry about being judged.
Once she was done speaking, the blonde female looked to her boyfriend and just waited. She wasn't sure how Bryant was going to react, but what she did know was that she was eager to find out how he was going to take it. When he did finally speak, Heidi sighed a heavy breath of relief. Looking to her boyfriend, now with tears of joy in her eyes, Heidi leaned over and put both of her hands on his cheeks and kissed him. Before he spoke anything else to her, Heidi quickly added in, "Bryant, you have no idea how worried and nervous I was when I knew that I had to tell you about my past. I was so worried that you were going to judge me on it and kick me out or something," she spoke. As soon as she was finished, she listened to everything else that Bryant had to say and the female felt her heart starting to beat less heavily. Though, by the time that Bryant was finished talking, Heidi's heart had started to beat rapidly again, but for different reasons this time.
When Heidi was sure that Bryant had said everything that he had needed and wanted to, Heidi felt him take her hands in his own and she knew what she had to do.
"I love you, Bryant," she spoke clearly.

When Heidi jumped in with saying how nervous she was about telling him about her past, he let her talk. Never had Bryant ever let someone interrupt him in the slightest bit and not gotten offended. But with Heidi, things were really different. He really did feel that she was his one. It had taken many years of knowing who she was and interacting with her only on the occasions that he'd stop by the office building to see his siblings perform or practice, for the pair to finally interact for real with each other.
In the brief moment of silence after Bryant finished speaking and took Heidi's hands in his own, the male could feel his heart starting to beat faster as he thought of his life with Heidi taking off. They had a good but unconventional start to their relationship but Bryant couldn't be any happier that Heidi was carrying his child. Sure he was a bit fearful of what kind of father he'd be, especially with this band going on tour all the time and the fame. He didn't want their child to have to endure being in the spotlight at a young age unless it was for themselves.
In that short moment of silence, all of those thoughts ran through Bryant's head but the next words from Heidi made his breathing, heart and mind stop. She told him that she loved him. The couple hadn't exchanged those three words yet because for one, Bryant just wasn't quite ready it seemed even though he was truly in love with Heidi. The other reason was that the male didn't want their relationship to be rushed too much. However, it did seem it was a bit late for that.
After thinking for a brief moment, Bryant let a small smile cross his lips. He leaned his softly to kiss his girlfriend's lips in a passionate but light manner, pulling away slowly to leave their lips only mere millimeters apart. "I love you too, Heidi," he responded as he rested his lips against hers once more.
