Laughing cutely at Jesse's comment, Bayleigh just nodded her head slightly. "Fine, I do, but you have to be nicer to me," she said. "And I wouldn't want to hide from you forever. I don't want to break my own heart," she told him.

As things heated up, Bayleigh felt her body temperature rising and her adrenaline kicking in. The pair seemed to start kissing faster as clothes began to disappear. Soon enough, Bayleigh was back on the bed and Jesse was laying on top of her again. It was only a few moments after her back was against the sheets that Jesse had his hands on her shorts and pulled them off of her. Widening the space between her legs, Bayleigh made room for Jesse to move in between them.

Wanting this moment to be special for the both of them, Bayleigh wanted to do nothing but make sure that it was perfect. Although, the second that Bayleigh felt her boyfriend inside of her, she had a sudden flashback to her past. Remembering her attack as if it was happening to her all over again, the female grabbed the sheets underneath her and started pushing Jesse off of her. "Get off me!" she shouted. "I didn't do anything. It's Greg that owes you money, not me!" she continued to shout. Letting go of the sheets below her, Bayleigh's elbows went to her side and she began pushing Jesse off of her, thinking that it was her former dealer. "I said get off me! Stop, please!" she cried out.

Jesse felt his heart begin to race as his body melded with his girlfriend's. He closed his eyes as his hands felt for her hips. He ran his hands down her thighs as he started to push more. Jesse could only feel like tonight would be the night that they finally did it. They would finally be truly together after all those years. That night so long ago didn't even count if tonight was really going to happen. Jesse looked down to Bayleigh just as she grabbed for the sheets under her.

The screeching sound of her voice telling him to get off, made the male jump. He immediately started to move to get from on top of her as the blond female became distraught and kept pushing him off of her. Her screaming and the pushing made Jesse slide off the bed backwards in an awkward motion that he couldn't stop himself from falling off the bed. The heavy thud of his body made Jesse slightly gasp for air. "Bayleigh!" he called as the female said that it was Greg who owed money. The name didn't ring a loud bell but the owing money did.

Bentley had told Jesse the story of her drug dealer getting on her case but he hadn't told Jesse that the guy had raped Bayleigh. It was starting to make sense though. The way Bayleigh shied away from guys, the marks, the bruises she had. His thoughts snapped back to reality when Bayleigh's feet came close to his face as she continued to freak out. "Bayleigh, calm down!" Jesse called louder as he sat up and grabbed her feet. He tucked them under one of his arms like a football and stood up so that he was closer to the bed. "Bayleigh, I'm not going to hurt you. Bayleigh, Bayleigh," Jesse called as he still held onto her legs but slowly lowered himself onto the bed.

In a few swift movements of strength, Jesse was able to pull Bayleigh onto his lap in a curled up position. He held onto her for as long as he needed to. "Bayleigh, please calm down. I'm Jesse. I'm not going to hurt you. I'm not. I love you so much Bayleigh," Jesse said, holding his girlfriend as tight as he could without hurting her and rocking her slightly.

Breathing heavy, Bayleigh finally was pulled back into reality when Jesse's hold on her overpowered her thrashing about. Looking up to him with tears in her eyes, Bayleigh just held onto Jesse. "I'm sorry, Jess. I ruined everything," she said, continuing to cry. "You're probably too embarrassed to be around me now," she said to him. "Trust me, I'm embarrassed for the both of us," she admitted shyly.

Pulling the sheet over her body to cover up her midsection, Bayleigh's legs were left uncovered. "I thought that after so many years, I'd be over this by now. I guess I was wrong," Bayleigh said so disappointingly. "I wanted this to be perfect, but I ruined everything. I'm never going to get over this," she said. Leaning her head against her boyfriend's shoulder, Bayleigh sighed. "I don't know how I'm going to get through this, Jess," she said. "And I feel bad that I'm dragging you into this. I might just let you fool around with someone else on the side so that you don't get too bored," Bayleigh said.

Staying in Jesse's arms, Bayleigh felt so safe, but she knew that eventually, the male was going to get tired of not getting any. He had already said that he was tired of it to one of their mutual friends, Elijah. Whether is was a respectable thing to say to anyone, Bayleigh knew that it wasn't going to help anything if she continued to hold out on him or if they had to chance another time where she started tossing about because of a flashback from her past.

Jesse just held onto Bayleigh until she finally stopped thrashing about. For the next minute or so, he let Bayleigh talk. He didn't even utter an "mhm" to her in response. He simply held onto her as she laid her head against his shoulder and expressed how embarrassed she was, that she was sorry and that she thought she would be over her traumatic experience. Jesse hugged her tightly when she was done speaking, just holding her.

Finally, Jesse decided to respond after a few moments of quiet. "You didn't ruin anything. That asshole did," Jesse said, pushing slightly on Bayleigh so that she sat up. This made it easier for Jesse to put his hand on her chin and make sure she was looking into his eyes for what he said next. "What you went through, you will never go through ever again. Do you understand that Bayleigh? I love you way too much to hurt you intentionally. What happened to you wasn't fair and it scarred you but you know how you're going to make it through this?" the male asked. His tone was harsh but loving at the same time.

"You're going to make it through this because I'm here. That's the difference this time. I'm here at your boyfriend, not just your family friend. I'm going to help you through whatever you need. I'm going to be your supporter when you need one and I can be your punching bag if you need it," Jesse explained to his girlfriend. Jesse reached down to Bayleigh's feet and slid her sock off of her right foot, revealing the tattoo of his name that Bentley had told him about. It was really there. Pointing to it, Jesse looked to Bayleigh again. "You see that? That's why I'm here. Because I'm permanent. I'm not leaving. ever.

Then he remembered what she had said about letting him sleep around with other girls in case he got bored. "No. You know what, Bayleigh. I take back what I said to Elijah because waiting for you, is what I've been doing my whole life. I'll keep doing it until the day I die if I have to," Jesse said, holding Bayleigh's face in his hand still. He pulled her chin towards him and his lips locked against hers in one of those fiery passionate kisses that happens after a big crying match in movies.

After letting his lips finally leave Bayleigh's, Jesse looked at her in the eyes. He watched her for a few moments before smiling at her. Not grinning or chuckling, just genuine smiling. "I love you so much Bayleigh Alexis. Like so so so so much," he told her. That was the flat truth and had been for many years.

Glad that Jesse still had a hold on her, Bayleigh just snuggled up to him. Feeling safe in her arms, the female took in the words that her boyfriend spoke to her. Eventually lifting her head up off of Jesse's shoulder enough to look up and into his eyes, the female spoke again. "I just wanted our first time to be perfect," she said. "Well, the first time since we started dating, anyway," Bayleigh added. Resting her head against her boyfriend again, Bayleigh listened to Jesse's next set of words before responding again. "I don't ever want to go through that again, Jess," she said, tightening her grip on him. "I don't think that I can survive that entire thing all over again. I wouldn't be able to do that a second time. I barely made it through the first time. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have survived the first time it happened to me," Bayleigh Moore admitted out loud to Jesse for the first time. Then Jesse did something that she hadn't expected.

When the male had taken the sock off of her right foot, Bayleigh tried to stop him. She didn't know what made him want to take her sock off of her foot, but there was something underneath it that she didn't want him to see or know about just yet. Though, once Jesse had taken her sock off and revealed his name on the top of her foot that stretched from her little toe to the one next to the big one, he explained that he was permanent just like it. "But, how did you-," she began. Then it sank in. "Bentley," she spoke aloud. "Well, whether Bentley told you or not, you weren't supposed to find out until I told you," she said. "I can tell you though, I got that so long ago, because of you, Jesse. You helped me through everything that I was going through and I wouldn't have been able to do it without you. Honestly, Jesse, if you weren't there for me, I don't think that I'd be sitting here today. I don't know if I would have even lived to see twenty-one," Bayleigh said, revealing more than she wanted to that afternoon.

Then Jesse said that he took back what he had said to Elijah. "Don't take it back, Jess. You wouldn't have said it if you didn't mean it," Bayleigh said. And then they kissed. It was something that Bayleigh hadn't expected, but went along with it anyway. When their lips parted, Bayleigh heard just how much Jesse had loved her. "If you love me that much, make love to me," the girl spoke, looking up to her boyfriend's eyes with her own with a sincere look on her face.

Jesse listened to Bayleigh's responses every time he spoke. Their conversation was going smoothly and Jesse couldn't have asked for a better time for her to open up to him. He didn't need the details especially now because he could see how much what happened had truly hurt her deep down. He watched his girlfriend as she opened up to him then rested her head on his shoulder again.

Her reaction to him taking off the sock was sort of what he expected. She tried to stop him but of course didn't win. When she started to question how Jesse knew, he looked at her and she answered her own question. When she explained to him why she had even gotten the tattoo in the first place, Jesse felt his heart strings get pulled. She really did have him to thank but he didn't really feel like a true hero. He was just doing what he did best.

A small tear, just one, of happiness, welled up in the corner of Jesse's left eye but he was able to blink it away. Her response to him taking back what he had said to Elijah was that he shouldn't take it back because he meant it. Jesse made to open his mouth but realized she was right so he shut it again before the pair kissed. When he told her exactly how much he loved her, her response shocked him a bit. She told him to make love to her. Any other guy would have pushed her onto the bed and humped the living daylights out of her so they could just have sex. But that's not what Jesse wanted. He knew that that kind of sex wasn't what Bayleigh had been asking for either. He looked deep into her eyes before speaking again. "Are you absolutely sure Bayleigh?"

As Bayleigh laid their in her boyfriend's hold, she just felt so at home and natural there. She knew that she was safe there and that's what made it all that much better. She never had to worry about being hurt by Jesse, at least on purpose anyway and she liked that. And as she spoke, Bayleigh could very much tell that her boyfriend was listening to everything that she was saying. That truly meant a lot to the girl and she didn't know how she would have been able to handle herself if Jesse had chosen to ignore her or only pretend to listen to her. When she told Jesse to prove how much he loved her by making love to her, she only half expected the answer that rang in her ears from his mouth. "I couldn't be any more sure of myself, even if I tried," she said. Shifting her body slightly, Bayleigh managed to move herself enough so that she could lock lips with Jesse and pull him down on top of her again.

A few weeks after Bayleigh and Jesse had slept together, Bayleigh found herself in a bit of an awkward situation. She didn't know how she was going to tell Jesse that she though that she was pregnant or that the first time they had slept together was the same time that they had possibly conceived their love child. Texting him to come over to her apartment as usual was the easy part; Bayleigh knew that the hard part was still to come. He was going to get to her apartment and see a frazzled Bayleigh.

After spending the afternoon in the studio, Bayleigh soon went home to her apartment to be greeted by little Louie. She had decided on the name after one of her favorite designers, but she loved her little dog. Picking up the tiny dog off of the floor, the female hoped that Jesse wasn't going to freak out. Of course, they were almost thirty and were sort of expected to have at least one or two children by now, but the pair had a bit of a fragile relationship still and Bayleigh didn't want a baby to ruin what they had together so far. She knew that regardless of what the result of the test was, she was going to be with Jesse. That thought alone was what made her keep from an ultra panicked state of mind.

After closing the door behind her, Bayleigh dropped her keys on the kitchen counter, then went into the living room and sat on the couch, turning the television on. Now, it was a waiting game.

Jesse watched and listened intently to his girlfriend when she said that she absolutely was sure about what she had asked him to do for her. When the female leaned in to kiss him, one of Jesse's hand found her neck and cheek, running his hand down both. Her soft skin under his hand was like running a hot knife through butter. Then Bayleigh moved slowly but gracefully so that she was able to pull him on top of her again.

It had been a few weeks since that night that Bayleigh and Jesse made love as an official couple for the first time. He didn't bother to push her to do it again until she was comfortable. The last he needed was for Bayleigh to have more and more freak out sessions that might potentially ruin all of the progress she had made in healing herself. So whenever the pair had had moments alone, Jesse just cuddled her and didn't allow anything to get further.

The male had finally gotten a tattoo with Bayleigh's name. It was small and easy to hide on his wrist from Bentley. He wasn't going to show his best friend until the pair were married. He knew that he had to show Bayleigh soon though. He knew that his tattoo didn't have nearly as much meaning as hers did but in a way, he was showing her that she was going to be in his life permanently, no matter what.

When the male received a text one day to go to Bayleigh's apartment laster that day, he gladly obliged. When he was finally ready to go after a shower and a quick nap, he stopped at a small florist shop and picked up a single rose for Bayleigh. He had been added a single flower to the bouquet he had brought over every time he saw her in the past few weeks. It was kind of like keeping the love alive.

Jesse drove to his girlfriend's apartment and grabbed the flower before getting out of his car and going up the stairs to her door. Unlocking her apartment door, Jesse peeked around it then walked in. He closed the door slowly so that it clicked and he walked into the living room. Jesse immediately saw Bayleigh sitting on the couch and smiled at her motionless body watching the television. He walked over and leaned down, blocking her view, to kiss her forehead and hand her the rose. "For you," the male said as he moved to sit on the couch next to Bayleigh. His arm wrapped around her shoulders as he pulled her lightly to make her lean against his body.

While Bayleigh sat on the couch, she picked up the remote and turned on the television. She soon opened up the digital guide and started searching for something to watch that would be able to keep her attention on for the remaining alone time that she still had before Jesse made his way over to her apartment. Though, it wasn't long before she heard the door open and then little Louie start barking. When Jesse came into sight, the puppy stopped barking and soon started wagging his little tail ferociously. It was as if he was more excited to see Jesse than Bayleigh was.

When Jesse came over to her and kissed her forehead, she felt little feet trampling her legs so that he could get some loving attention as well. Once Jesse had kissed her, he handed her a single red rose. It was simply another token of affection from him, just like the many others that he had given to her over the past few weeks. Though, as soon as she took it and Jesse had sat down next to her and pulled her closer to him, Bayleigh knew that somehow, everything was going to be just fine. "Thanks, Jess," she said to him.

Not knowing exactly when she should tell her boyfriend that she had thought that she was pregnant, Bayleigh decided that the sooner she told him, the faster it would be out in the open and they'd be able to talk about it and what they were going to do. Pulling back from the male for a moment, Bayleigh took Jesse's hand in hers and then looked up and into his eyes. "Jess, we need to talk about something kind of important," Bayleigh began. Sitting up a little bit straighter, Bayleigh leaned over and placed the rose on the coffee table and then looked back over to her boyfriend. "I don't really know how to put this lightly, so I'm just going to be blunt. I'm late," she spoke. "Like, late, late," Bayleigh said. "I was going to take a test, but I wanted you to be here with me for it," she said to him.

Sitting with his arm tight around his girlfriend, Jesse turned his hand around the back of her head to look at his new tattoo. It still stung a bit since it was only a few days old but he couldn't wait to show her. Then the female thanked him for the flower. He smiled and kissed the top of her head. "You're very welcome," Jesse responded happily.

Then Bayleigh sat up a bit more and put the rose on the table. The motions didn't bother Jesse as much as what Bayleigh was saying did. She said that they had to talk about something rather important and all Jesse could do was to raise one eyebrow inquisitively. They hadn't really talked about sex or anything like that since that night a few weeks ago. He was hoping she wasn't going to bring up wanting to slow down even more which in Jesse's mind would basically start sending them backwards.

The male watched Bayleigh as she turned to him and spoke. "I'm late" were the words in a movie that every single guy did not want to hear. This moment was really no different for Jesse. He just sat on the couch next to his girlfriend and looked at her. Stunned would be the word to describe Jesse right then. Bayleigh didn't have to explain that she was late, late but she did and it only made Jesse sit more shocked.

One hand came to face and covered his mouth for a moment, thinking, well not really thinking since his brain wasn't working. Then his hand dragged down his mouth slowly, stopping at his chin to stratch a bit. He was just honestly baffled. "How- I mean I know how but what- well I know what but why- well that part's obvious too," he said as he rambled for a another second or two. Jesse turned his attention to his girlfriend before speaking again. "I'm glad that you wanted me here but I don't know if I can handle what the results are. Remember how afraid I was of Bentley to even ask you out? He'd kill me for this for sure," Jesse said, looking worried a bit.

Within a few minutes, Jesse's brain had cleared a bit. A baby would mean responsibility. Then he had to remind himself that Bayleigh hadn't even taken a test yet. There was still a chance that the stress she had been under caused her to be late. Not a baby. "Do you have one or do you need me to run out and get you one?" he asked, looking at his girlfriend. It was one of those make it or break it moments for Jesse.
