Looking down to his newly fiance, Mackenzie couldn't help but smile; he was beyond happy with his life. He had a great girl on his arm and a beautiful daughter to be proud of and that was all before factoring in his band's success. "I wouldn't have asked for anything different," Mackenzie said, leaning down and planting a sweet and gentle kiss on Onyx's lips quickly. The male stood there in awe of his own life; he had never pictured things going the way that they had, but he wasn't planning on changing things now. He was completely in love with Onyx and his daughter and he wouldn't even think about leaving either one of them. They were simply perfect.
"Trust me, I like lazy afternoons and I'm all for it. But, I'm not going shopping with you two. I'll just sit there and be a hanger holder and a walking ATM machine," the male spoke. "You two go shopping, I'll stay home and take a nap," Mackenzie spoke, smiling a silly grin. Hearing Onyx's next batch of words peaked Mackenzie's interest quite a bit. "Then don't get anything too expensive," he remarked. "Because if we're coming home and I get to rip it off of you, there's no return policy on damaged clothes," he spoke. "And Jasmine can have as many dresses as she wants," the male spoke. "She's my princess and she gets whatever she wants," Mackenzie said, smiling the entire time.

When Onyx was pregnant with Jasmine, she had baby fever running rampant. All that was on her mind was baby, baby, baby. Now with her new engagement, she was currently in wedding mode. In her head, she was already trying to plan the guest list while thinking of what the theme or colors will be, where will it be, what will they serve to eat, and all these other wedding details. She would need to get fitted for a dress and get Jasmine fitted as well since she would probably be a flower girl or something of the sort. She would need to gather her bridesmaids and maid of honor and work out what they'll wear. And they'll probably throw her a bachelorette party too so there was that. And weren't there wedding showers also? Plus rehearsal dinners and other parties as well? Onyx was kicked into heavy gear wedding mode. That night was going to be the greatest night of her life, tied with the birth of Jasmine. Onyx's train of thought was interrupted by Mackenzie giving her a sweet kiss. "Me too," Onyx blushed.
Onyx laughed at Mackenzie. "It's in your male genes to be the bag holder and ATM machine," she teased. Onyx tapped Mackenzie on the chest. "If you're opting for a nap instead of shopping then I'm joining you." She would prefer naps to shopping any day. Besides, she can do all of that online if she really needed to buy something. "Well, if that's the case, I'm sure I have a nice, old dress that won't mind meeting the floor." Onyx mentally thanked watching mature TV that gave her ideas for witty, sexy one-liners like those. "Yes, our princess can have anything she wants. Even if it means breaking Daddy's back and wallet."

The look on his fiance's face said it all. Onyx had baby fever when she was pregnant with their daughter, so he knew that she had wedding fever now, because he could see that look in her eyes. She was probably already trying to figure out what color the napkins were going to be or some other minuscule detail that Mackenzie would have cared less. All girls cared about those tiny details and whereas a napkin would look white to him, Onyx would have some off the wall name for it instead, but it would not be white. When the male kissed her and brought her back to the real world, he noticed her cheeks blushing red. He had to admit, that was something that Mackenzie still loved to do to Onyx; it happened more often when their relationship was a little newer, but he was still able to get her to blush pink on occasion.
As the conversation turned subjects, Mackenzie grinned at Onyx's words. "Yeah, maybe, but that doesn't necessarily mean that I like holding all those bags. It gets heavy after awhile, you know," the male spoke. "Being an ATM is normal though. I'm used to being one for my older sisters. That part of a shopping trip I don't mind. It's everything else that does," the blond spoke. "Of course, I'm opting for a nap. I prefer naps over most things," Mac spoke. "All I do is sleep in my down time," he added. Putting his free hand on his fiance's face, Mac looked deep into her eyes. "Any old dress would work," he said, a devious grin on his face. "I might even save you the trouble and tell you not to even bother putting one on," he winked. Taking his focus off of Onyx and shifting it to the tiny girl in his arms, Mackenzie smiled. "She's already breaking her daddy's back. You're growing up too fast, Peanut," the male said, watching Jasmine start giggling as he spoke to her. "And she already knows that her daddy would buy her anything that she ever wanted," Mac said. "Though, he's not going to pay for a wedding, because she's never going to date or get married," he said.
